Anet does not recognize that critters run away from you when you turn around to chase them as a bug. It is intentional. The counter to that, that if you flee instead of chase, they chase - is also intentional.

It may be a bad choice, but it is a choice, not a bug.

Fair enough.. but why say, in the previous updates, that they dont run or "kite" when they are very healthy, yet the 3 level 28 warriors still run away after taking about.. 21 damage by a sing hit from a level 20 warrior? I've chased around mobs for about 20 mins only to stop and watch the mob run and run. And then, when they finally come back, regardless how far across the map I am from them, the same thing happens after 3 or more hits. Why make the AI like this?

Also it looks like they changed the layout of Gates of Torment a little to make it easier to find things.

Inside joke, anyone?

Good Will Hunting?

We did get soemthing unique with Nightfall. The two special dances stand out way more than the Divine Aura. It's the same with Factions. The Divine Aura is an on-going 'small' benefit to most people that have it, believed to apply to all characters created in Guild Wars. If it was a dance that applied to all future characters then it would be a bit different because that's a big, noticable effect. Instead it's just a bit of glow around the hands.

EDIT: Be happy for what the NF and Factions CE's did get. I've got all three, and the first one didn't come with green mini-pets (they didn't exist yet). Even the pre-orders for the other two had more than the first pre-order (which I also have): extra character slot and max wpns for the classes of that chapter. The first pre-order only had a non-max monk offhand. It wasn't until the Special Edition that they added wpns for all the classes (which would be really handy for Heroes right about now :-)...

Quite simply because it's bugged, bit like the book which on page 89 says "Your character is at the centre of the circle surrounded by a white circle, the "Danger Zone"

Now it doesnt take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that since they screwed the AI up, the "Danger Zone" is now the whole sodding minimap, with mobs that are obviously from the same factory that Steve Austin came out of with Bionic Eyes and Speed Boosts.

It may be a bad choice, but it is a choice, not a bug.
But they should break aggro, this game isn't realistic, they should go back to their own business after a time, take it out please. It's not fun, it's not challenging, it's frustrating and disgusting. I could just die and rez but that wastes ooooh so much time.

Mursaat also should not chase runners that they cannot catch as they are 5 aggro bubbles ahead of them...they should not be able to chase them almost 10 compasses, which is what I saw today in Ice Flow. The Mursaat Mesmer stopped after about 3, but that Ele kept on going, right past the Ice Imps near Grotto and I lost sight of it after that, but my runner was way ahead of it. About 30 seconds later to oh my wondering eyes should appear! But the necro and mesmer chasing slowly behind. I am not sure about you, but 10 radar/compasses is waaay over the line. Especially when the ele couldnt' see the warrior in it's sight anymore. Anet fix now.

I don't know if they aren't realizing this or not reading or just ignoring or if they aren't planning on changing it because it is intentional.. but A LOT of people are complaining about it in game in outposts. By A lot I mean maybe 2-3 when I see it, it's not many to you but I've never seen anyone complain about it before.

Well if it doesn't get changed because they are ignoring those of us who know full well it's bugged, having sent in numerous tickets and screenshots to no avail will find we'll be ignoring THEM when it comes to future releases.

Even more so as the title role in that movie is played by Matt Damon.

Wow, sometimes Anet are just cheesy. I love it when they are.

Factions pre-order didn't have an extra character slot, just the max weapons.

The first pre-order had different weapons depending on where you got it. Yours had the monk offhand, mine had the War Pick. There was an Ithas Bow, a shield, and a few others.
